A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 5,200 times in 2013. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

Had a lovely evening with friends went to dinner at the local Chinese restaurant and got more food than I know what to do with I’ll be eating Chinese for a couple of days or until I tire of it.
Almost a full moon tonight looks very nice with the moon shining bright and the holiday lights on some of the houses. The weather is perfect I hardly need a jacket.
One of our neighbors drove into the trench by their house that the water pipes are being laid in. They aren’t to happy about that and they were some of the folks who didn’t vote for the water project so it made for interesting comments.
Today was sunny but chilly. Very nice in sun and a little chilly in the shade so a light jacket was in order. I went to the swap meet early this morning then went to town and had breakfast with the “Breakfast Club” some nice conversation was enjoyed then I went to the new bakery in town to buy some raisin bread. I got to use some of my Spanish when a gentleman came into the bakery and didn’t have any english. I felt that I communicated fairly well for the limited time and subject matter.
When I got home I visited with my neighbor for a while and got my puppy fix with their two cocker spaniels. Their dogs have taken to me and love to be cuddled and be petted while in my lap. Later I went with my neighbors John and Diana to our Cantina here at Pete’s Camp for dinner I had a taco salad that was delicious. I took a couple of photos of the Cantina as it was decorated for the holidays and looked quite cheery. We are very lucky to have our own restaurant and bar here at Pete’s Camp it makes it very convenient for going to dinner and drinks without going to town and driving in the dark to get home. Driving in the dark in Mexico, even here in San Felipe, is not recommended.
The Pete’s Camp Water Project has begun. The construction crews have begun ditching the roads for the pipes to carry water to our homes. This is a big project covering over two hundred homes. This will modernize the community with city water to every lot. I don’t know when this project will be completed, there is a lot of work to be done pipes connected and pressure tested, meters installed and so forth. When done this will lower the cost of water considerably and the need for home owner pumps and tanks will be history. Here are some photos of the ditching at my house.

Some conduit got bent by the ditching machinery. The good news nothing got damaged.
